Claimmyfare

Terms of service

Last updated: September 2026

This is a working draft reflecting how Claimmyfare actually operates today. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer — treat it as a transparent description of current practice, not a final legal document.

What you're agreeing to

These terms cover your use of the Claimmyfare Assist Chrome extension and this website. By installing the extension or paying for a plan, you agree to these terms.

What the service is

Claimmyfare Assist reads TfL journey information already displayed on a page you're signed into yourself, and checks each journey's actual duration against TfL's own published scheduled time. Where a journey looks like it qualifies for a delay refund, it shows you the details to enter into TfL's own claim form.

Claimmyfare never logs into TfL on your behalf, never submits a claim for you, and makes no guarantee that TfL will accept any claim you submit. Eligibility decisions are made entirely by TfL, under TfL's own rules — Claimmyfare's assessment is an estimate to help you decide whether it's worth checking, not a guarantee.

Plans and billing

The free tier tells you how many journeys on a page look refundable. Paid plans (Standard and Unlimited) unlock full journey-by-journey detail, with a monthly journey-check allowance that resets on a rolling basis.

Paid plans are billed monthly. You can cancel at any time from your account; you'll keep access until the end of your current billing period.

Your responsibilities

You're responsible for reviewing and submitting any claim yourself, on TfL's own site, using your own judgement. Claimmyfare is not liable for any claim TfL rejects, delays, or handles in a way you didn't expect.

Your license key is for your own use. Please don't share it or attempt to circumvent your plan's journey-check allowance.

No affiliation with TfL

Claimmyfare is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Transport for London in any way.

Service provided “as is”

The extension depends on TfL's own published journey-history pages and public schedule data, both of which can change without notice. We aim to keep the extension working correctly but can't guarantee it will always detect every eligible journey, or that TfL's page structure won't change in a way that temporarily affects it.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after a change means you accept the update. We may suspend or terminate a license for misuse, such as attempting to circumvent usage limits or abuse the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
