Claimmyfare

How it works

A Chrome extension, not a service that logs into your account for you.

Step 1

Add the extension.

Claimmyfare Assist is a free Chrome extension. There's no account to create and nothing to connect — it just sits in your browser toolbar.

Step 2

Open your TfL statement yourself.

Go to contactless.tfl.gov.uk and sign in the way you always do. The extension never logs in for you and never sees your TfL password.

Step 3

Click “Find refundable journeys.”

It reads whatever journeys are already shown on the page in front of you, and checks each one's actual duration against TfL's own scheduled time for that route.

Step 4

You submit the claim.

For each journey worth claiming, you get the exact station names, date, time and delay to enter into TfL's own claim form. You review it and click submit — the extension never does.

What you’ll actually see

The popup opens right on top of your TfL statement — here’s an example of what a scan finds.

Why it stops before submitting

TfL’s claim form is the only place your claim actually gets submitted, and it stays that way on purpose. The extension only ever reads what’s already on your screen and tells you what to type — it never fills in TfL’s form or clicks submit for you.
